Account Executive (German Speaking) – DACH Region
Enterprise Asset Management Software | Utilities & Critical Infrastructure
€90,000 Base Salary | €150,000 OTE
We are partnering with a fast-growing enterprise software business delivering asset management and operational intelligence solutions to large, asset-intensive organisations across the utilities, energy, and infrastructure sectors.
The company’s technology enables customers to improve asset reliability, optimise maintenance operations, reduce operational risk, and accelerate large-scale digital transformation programmes. Their client base includes major electrical utilities, infrastructure operators, and industrial organisations across Europe.
The Role
We are seeking a German-speaking Account Executive to drive new business growth across the DACH region. This is a highly consultative enterprise sales role focused on engaging complex utility and infrastructure customers and managing end-to-end sales cycles from initial engagement through to close.
You will work closely with senior leadership, pre-sales, solution consulting, and customer success teams to develop strategic accounts and build long-term customer partnerships.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify, develop, and close new enterprise sales opportunities across the DACH region
- Build relationships with senior stakeholders across Operations, Asset Management, Engineering, IT, and Digital Transformation functions
- Lead consultative discovery sessions to understand customer challenges and requirements
- Coordinate product demonstrations, workshops, and commercial proposals with technical teams
- Manage complex enterprise procurement and negotiation processes
- Maintain accurate pipeline forecasting and CRM management
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders on territory planning and go-to-market strategy
- Represent the business at client meetings, industry events, and conferences
- Consistently achieve or exceed revenue targets
Required Experience
- Experience in enterprise software or SaaS sales
- Proven track record managing full-cycle B2B sales processes
- Experience selling into utilities, energy, infrastructure, engineering, or industrial sectors preferred
- Strong commercial acumen and relationship-building skills
- Ability to engage both technical and executive-level stakeholders
- Fluent German and English language skills
- Self-motivated with strong organisational and time management ability
Desirable Experience
- Knowledge of Enterprise Asset Management (EAM), Asset Performance Management (APM), or industrial software platforms
- Experience selling into electrical utilities or critical infrastructure organisations
- Familiarity with digital transformation programmes in regulated industries
Compensation & Benefits
- €90,000 base salary
- €150,000 on-target earnings (OTE)
