A leading European Data Centre delivery partner is seeking an experienced EHS Advisor to support the construction of a major hyperscale Data Centre project in Finland.
This is a key site-based role, working closely with the Project Management team and Site Health & Safety Lead to ensure the highest standards of environmental, health and safety compliance across all phases of construction. You will play a proactive role in shaping a strong safety culture on a large, fast-paced, mission-critical project.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the Project Management team and Site H&S Lead
- Implement and maintain the project Safety Management System
- Ensure compliance with all Environmental, Health & Safety legislation
- Review method statements, risk assessments, permits to work and safe plans of action
- Carry out regular site audits, inspections and corrective actions
- Manage COSHH assessments and control of hazardous substances
- Ensure subcontractor compliance with project and group EHS policies
- Coordinate site inductions, training and toolbox talks
- Assist with accident investigations and reporting
- Oversee welfare, hygiene, waste reduction and recycling programmes
- Participate in daily activity briefings and site coordination meetings
Requirements
- Degree-qualified in Health & Safety or a related discipline
- Minimum 3+ years’ experience on large construction sites
- Strong knowledge of current EHS legislation
- Proven ability to manage EHS requirements in a live construction environment
- Strong communication, organisational and IT skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a wider project team
