Are you a senior electrical design engineer with a passion for mission-critical power and energy transition?

A fast-growing specialist in energy storage and emergency power solutions is looking for a Senior Design Engineer to take technical ownership of complex, high-impact projects for clients who depend on absolute reliability.

Key Responsibilities

• Translate complex customer requirements into robust, scalable electrical designs
• Perform site surveys and technical analyses
• Design single-line diagrams, layouts, technical drawings, and as-built documentation
• Engineer solutions including BESS, UPS, generators, LV/HV, switchgear, ATS/STS, PLCs, and remote monitoring
• Support sales during pre-contract stages and project teams during delivery
• Drive technical improvements, standardisation, and product development
• Stay involved from concept through implementation

Requirements

• HBO / WO level in Electrical Engineering (or similar)
• 5–10 years’ experience in electrical design or engineering
• Strong knowledge of energy storage, UPS, data centres, industrial or emergency power systems
• Passion for reliability, innovation, and the energy transition
• Independent, analytical, and solution-focused
• Affinity with industrial automation and communication protocols
• Driving licence
