Senior Electrical Design Engineer – Boston (Hybrid) – $150,000 – $170,000 – Full Time
We’re partnering with a rapidly expanding engineering and technology company that is investing heavily in its internal design and infrastructure teams. They are seeking a Senior Electrical Design Engineer to support the development and delivery of high-performance power systems and critical facility infrastructure across a range of large-scale projects.
Responsibilities
- Lead electrical system design activities for power distribution and critical infrastructure projects
- Provide technical oversight to ensure designs meet performance, reliability, and compliance requirements
- Develop power and environmental solutions to support operational and equipment demands
- Partner with project managers, construction teams, and external vendors throughout project delivery
- Review engineering documentation, specifications, and technical drawings for quality and accuracy
- Support commissioning, testing, and ongoing optimization of electrical systems and facility operations
Requirements
- Experience in electrical design engineering within infrastructure, industrial, data center, or high-availability environments
- Strong understanding of US electrical codes and industry standards including NEC and related compliance frameworks
- Knowledge of power distribution, backup systems, cooling technologies, and facility infrastructure
- Ability to work cross-functionally within fast-paced engineering and delivery teams
- Experience supporting critical systems or technical facility projects is highly desirable
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field preferred
