Senior Electrical Engineer | Building Services & Sustainable Design | London | Up to £70,000
About the Role
We are recruiting on behalf of a growing mechanical, electrical and low-carbon engineering consultancy delivering projects across healthcare, education, residential, commercial, industrial and public sector clients.
Due to continued growth, they are looking to appoint a Senior Electrical Engineer to join their London office. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced electrical engineer to lead on selected projects and work across a variety of technically challenging schemes.
What You Will Be Doing
You will play a vital role within the team, taking ownership of projects and supporting more junior engineers along the way. Your key responsibilities will include:
- Raising the level of technical excellence relating to electrical engineering within the team.
- Developing into a point of contact for key clients over time.
- Supporting repeat business through strong customer care of existing clients.
- Working on technically challenging and interesting projects across varied sectors.
- Being client-facing and involved in all project stages from inception through to completion.
- Producing drawings, specifications and calculations, or guiding others to complete them.
What We Are Looking For
- A degree in Electrical or Building Services Engineering, Chartered or working towards Chartership.
- Experience with design software including Relux, Dialux, Amtech and Revit.
- Knowledge of British and European Standards and Building Regulations.
- Professional membership with CIBSE or IET.
- A good understanding of HV/LV systems and embedded generation.
- Knowledge of renewable technologies and BREEAM.
